Computers were made to make life easier for us, it put out of work quite a number of people, that used to do things manually. Some clever ones, forgot about their resentment, and just learnt how to use the computers, and joined everyone else.
Which jobs don't use computers to assist, except e.g. the sheepherder, that still plays on his cellphone ?
Now what will the computers, we all know today, all morph into ?

Bnaughty: My computer refused to do the shopping so I kicked it out
Well that was not necessary. U could have gone online and ordered all ur groceries and clothes, etc and have them delivered. All the buildings aren't connected yet, so the delivery will be by road in an old fashioned vehicle, which will be replaced soon by Air vehicles.
Back in the 90's I used my computer for mainly tracing my Native American ancestry then as years went by I used it for mainly some fun things by going on many different message boards etc.
Now that's all I mainly do.I don't do any shopping online cause I want to be able to walk into a store I try things on.
If people choose to order most most things that is their business not mine. Some of the food stores to which I purchase groceries have it set up that someone can set it up so the stores can do the shop for you and all someone has to do is pay with a debit/credit card and go to the store to pick up the food items etc.
As long as I can still shop for myself I will continue to do so.But of course to each their own way of doing things their way.
I mainly use it to read, update on work related technology and research... I buy, sell, advertise, consult... I obviously waste a little of my time on here... Nothing too dramatic or life threatening...

Dedovix: dunno,
When small I had a dream about the current situation in the world:-
We will live in buildings in the sky, interconnected with walking tubes, with sky air cars, likely solar & backup battery driven.
On the sea similar conditions will be maintained, with the old fashioned airlock, replaced by a minor AI. Everyone will be interconnected with large walking tubes. They will be happy. All outside their bubbles, like a ramp will be provided, by the current at the time, world economy.

Bearwoman: I learned that they can only digest what humans put into them.
I don't know if u have ever read a Bible in Revelation the 666 Beast, is mentioned. I read about it in other books at the age of 12. It is seen as the next world domination, where the human race with just be pawns, to it's liking. This is an AI (Artificial Intelligence)
I still want to see a computer reason, as u r right, it can only spit out, in various scenarios, u fed it, but apparently as the one u say the videos on, can reason to an extend, but copying the human brain , which I don't know because no-one that I know of has yet figured it out.
