Mildred, the church gossip, and self-appointed monitor of the church's morals, kept sticking her nose into other people's business. Several members did not approve of her extra-curricular activities, but feared her enough to maintain their silence. She made a mistake, however, when she accused George, a new member, of being an alcoholic after she saw his old pickup parked in front of the town's only bar one afternoon. She emphatically told George and several others that everyone seeing it there would know what he was doing. George, a man of few words, stared at her for a moment and just turned and walked away. He didn't explain, defend, or deny. He said nothing. Later that evening, George quietly parked his pickup in front of Mildred's house............. and left it there all night.

Mercedes_00: I'm so happy to hear that it puts a smile on my dial
I need good solid 8 hours of sleep without waking up a bunch of times, I am sleeping but not for any length of time and after so long, it can affect your mood. Might try no caffeine night time and see if that helps.

I cannot get this song out of my head. It's been weeks!
Sometimes I'm beaten Sometimes I'm broke ‘Cause sometimes this city is nothing but smoke Is there a secret? Is there a code? Can we make it better? 'Cause I'm losing hope
Tell me how to be in this world Tell me how to breathe in and feel no hurt Tell me how 'cause I believe in something I believe in us
After the wreckage After the dust I still hear the howling, I still feel the rush Over the riots, above all the noise Through all the worry, I still hear your voice
So, tell me how to be in this world Tell me how to breathe in and feel no hurt Tell me how ‘cause I believe in something I believe in us Tell me when the light goes down That even in the dark we will find a way out Tell me now 'cause I believe in something I believe in us
We used to be kids living just for kicks In cinema seats, learning how to kiss Running through streets that were painted gold We never believed we'd grow up like this
So tell me how to be in this world Tell me how to breathe in and feel no hurt Tell me how 'cause I believe in something I believe in us Tell me when the light goes down That even in the dark we can find a way out Tell me now 'cause I believe in something I believe in us I believe in something And I believe in us
