Have you ever lost somebody, like a parent, a brother, a sister, wife, or good friend?
How did you deal with it?
Did you forget his/her face, voice or other things?

Last year I lost my father, and somehow it's difficult to remember about how he looked.
His voice I would recognize out of thousands. Of course I have several photo's.
And when I hear a sad thing about someone who died, it's hard not to think of my daddy.

Anyone want to talk about some serious things?

You know I would love to talk about it, but it’s not for here. All I can say is that you never get over it and just learn to live with it.handshake

The same way that any race, credo deals with death. By grieving.

there are no good or bad way, you just do. I lost my first wife in 1997, and my my father to cancer a few years ago. there was a hurt as my father was the biggest influence in my life. Every now and then I wish I could tell him about something or ask advice on something.

I still remember both regularly, in a positive way. The important thing is to not dwell on it.
