Liberal1: I would absolutely welcome the ideas and a campaign from Gov. John Hickenlooper within the Democratic Party! As I would the ideas and possible candidacies of John Shultz and Michael Bloomberg! Within the Democratic Party!
All ideas are welcome! Even those from the political Right! As long as they are presented and debated honestly and openly!
However, if these ideas and certainly candidacies are presented from an outside forum that can only realistically be an enhancement of a Trump candidacy it is just as Treasonous as Trump himself! The single greatest danger to Democracy and The United States of America is Donald J. Trump! Anything that helps Donald Trump is Un-American!

Liberal1: First off, of course, no one is perfect! My point was that "Real" scandals are one's that are based on something more than conjecture! Benghazi was a manufactured scandal! Fox News hyped it and harped on it until they had all of their brain washed hate mongers screaming about it! Then Republican politicians felt forced to launch their endless investigations even though they knew there was no substance to it!
The same is true of all of the so called scandals she mentioned!
I have to agree about the most glaring mistake of the Obama Admin. Stating there was a "Red line" that Syria must not cross and then doing nothing was extremely bad policy. I'm glad he didn't escalate the war in Syria but a President should never say things they are not going to back up!
Cut now to the current President agreeing to just turn over Syria to Russia and Iran and allow Erdogan to slaughter or Allies the Kurds is a "Real" scandal!

Today Howard Shultz expressed his reason for no longer being a Democrat. He said it was because the Democratic base was for Socialism. He thinks that Medicare for all is a Socialist agenda. Well I suppose it is but what's wrong with that?

Republicans have been in favor for a Ten Billion dollar a year tax subsidy for Americas Oil and Gas industries which is some of the most profitable businesses in the World! That is bad Socialism!
Focusing on the Military above it's actual needs is bad Socialism! Anyone that has actually been in the Military has seen the incredible waste and misuse of taxpayer dollars! Their policy of "Use it or lose it" budgets is the one of the worst culprits!
It incentivizes waste and mismanagement of funds and it's been budgetary policy since well before I was in the Military in the 60's! These are just two of the many examples of bad Socialism that is approved of by the Right!
Contributing to the Health, Education and Well being of the people is good! When you have a Healthy, well educated and secure Society it is more productive and is better able to contribute to it's own well being! Sensibly adjusting our priorities is necessary! Good Socialism works!
