Vegan meals can be deadly when prepped right. It actually wouldn't be much of a stretch for me to go completely vegetarian as I eat very little meat and dairy. As for the sausage rolls in question, only one way to find out if they are good or not.

equiya: at least, you should be happy for us vegans. you are safe with us. we will never eat you (lol) unless you are a plant, since our diet is plant based only.
I bought some vegan shampoo today but I had to laugh as I was rubbing it all over my meat in the showerhead banger

That's dissapointing ... but you can't expect to be 'eaten' unless you're willing to return the favour ...

sigh

davie_stencil: High street success story. Strong start to 2019 thanks to the not a sausage, sausage roll. Expect more Quorn based products in the future to appease the tree-huggers. Looking forward to a vegan caramel custard doughnut.....................not.

Being a treehugger myself grin BUT NOT VEGAN OR VEGGIE grin having a meat allergy this sounds like a treat at £1 for one wow . Will try one today as yesterday in my town sold out. applause

I think you're saying that not because you're a narrow minded ignoramus but because you're an intelligent open minded person who likes to quote ignorant remarks made by angry meat eaters who hate being made to face the reality of the cruelty involved is raising pigs chickens etc in appalling conditions just so they can stuff their big gobs with cancer causing meat . sigh

charles_nz: I'm a normal person (i.e. an omnivore), but my mother is a vegan. Her attitude is this: "why would I as a vegan, want to eat food that looks like, or imitates meat?".
Exactly!
Maybe it's to fool the meat eaters when they come to your party?
