Mevertheless, in this overcrowded world I think it's irresponsible to get children.
If we want to save animals and plants against extinction, for over ten years nobody should get children, and afterwards only one.
The one child policy in China somehow worked, allthough it was often inhumane, but how many people would have lived in china today if the last 50 years every woman would have 4 children? For they need a place to live, there has to be food for them, so the nature would have been totally destroyed. The air in china is filled with smog allready.
In Africa lately there was a woman who had 43 children (39 from her first husband), and then they come begging in the Netherlands and many other nations for food and money.
Well sorry, if you want to behave immoral and irresponsible, suffer the consequences.
