“ The artist is expressing his sad feelings of loss and emptiness. Once, he had a feeling of deeply felt and meaningful energy that was shaped by his love for someone special. This feeling had given him the power to imbue his experiences with a feeling of intensity, attachment and caring. A stream of light, meaningless in itself, used to be seen in a context of a life charged by a relationship of love.
