Selenite: Beyond the cultural and status in society, connecting with my lover/partner on a human person level through the mind, body, heart and spirit is super important for me. Communication on a mental level is enhanced by the heart (love) and spritual connection and the physical connection is enhanced by the mind, heart and spiritual connection. I couldn't have a relationship without a good balance of all 4.

Is it romantic love we don't know. But there is some evidence that they are capable of experiencing the same range of emotions as we can. The brains of many mammals are surprisingly similar to the human brain. Take as an example the brain of a cat. It can experience what we call love.

All four of course. It's been my experience that the spiritual connection is most readily achieved through the physical connection. The two of you can reach "that place."What about you?
