Anyone made the connection between whats written in religion books and current living condition on planet earth ? No one?...big flood , does it ring a bell? Or the ice age?nothing?
Okay, the condition on this planet were like in a hyperbaric chamber-oxygen-rich air- i think it was 93 percent ,constant warm temperature - like eternal spring, no rain -humidity in the air and you could actually cross by foot ,what we now know as oceans and seas .So, after a huge asteroid hit earth aka Gods punishment - it threw the planet of its usual course and rotation ,Volcanoes erupted, lots of dust which ,which covered the sunlight for decades years after that started the ice age ... and now as the result of earths wobbling around its axle , trying to assume its previous rotation , the climate is changing ...but its probably gonna take another 15.000-20.000 years for the climate to be as it once was - nothing to do with what Men are doing,
But its just one more tool to plunder the people...

I have read this article too, but what has that got to do with air quality? Look at how all those fugitive particulate emissions from fires in australia are having a effect on temperatures in the continental USA. Warm today; cold tomorrow cycles experienced more frequently. And Australia is the biggest leading cause of climate change because of their use of sail boats.

Good questio. Quick answer is plenty. Anyone seriously environmental scientist involved in air quality science and air quality control regulations has more than a basic understanding of meteorology and, for some, oceanography too. But we should worry..
Without this knowledge you can not understand the dynamics of what influences air quality. For instance: for years environmental canada complained that the source of their acid rain was by emissions of coal fired power plants and steel mills in the northern ohio valley... meaning sulfur from ohio was raining down on forests in Canada because certain weather conditions create an inversion of the breathing atmosphere in ohio and then winds would transport it to canada where similar conditions re-invert the Ohio sulfur polluted air under rainy conditions.
Ohio and USEPA took their time admitting what was going on. Air Quality Work involves many things like air quality monitoring, modeling, permitting, enforcement, emission inventories, asbestos, automobile inspection maintenance blah blah blah. The usa has national ambient air monitoring standards for criteria pollutants at breathing levels for lead, particulate matter, ozone, carbon monoxide, sulfur dioxide, blah blah blah other toxic and nasty stuff gets in the mix to mess up the air temperatures but breathable. Its weird science but fascinating how everything interacts.

Of course the climate is changing, it has done ever since it existed, but what extent it is influenced by man is the big question.

Most people don't realize that if all the polar sea ice melted it would make no difference in the sea levels. Only ice on a landmass that melts would make any difference.As to salinity levels that all depends on how much of the ice is from fresh water.
