I choose not to believe; you can choose to believe, but you have no business trying to shove what you believe in on anyone. Stop believing for one second and let me know if you notice any change. Most people who believe are kind to people out of FEAR that hell is waiting for them, not because they are sincerely kind. When I do something for anyone I do it because I want to, not because I am afraid that "the man upstairs" will punish me with fire and brimstone. Where is he at in these moments of suffering for so many of the people who worship him and give him their last nickel and dime?

I believe there is not even the slightest possibility of a one god, one creator, believing there is is very harmful, better people carefully check up, just look at the reckless time-span its an absurdity to believe in a one god.

If you're trying to define a 'One God' in any sort of physical terms that a human could easily recognise or identify ( old white guy with his finger on everything ) then that's perhaps unlikely, but if you consider the 'entirety' of everything as a unity then ... each individual person / mind as a centre of Divine Operation ... the micro as the same as the macro?------ This thread is Archived ------
I think creator is within, we create our tomorrows not some god like being up the sky.
With the activities of body speech and mind we create our tomorrows, that collectively we also create karmas we become involved in, whether skillful or not the seeds of our tomorrows are certain.

My understanding from carefully studying Buddhism (philosophy that dates back at least 20,000 years) sentient beings have been migrating since beginningless time and will do so without end.
The notion that one god / creator created us in my opinion is pure fantasy, an impossibility, ridiculous in the extreme.
Therefore I have chosen to reject the notion, to suggest someone will be saved by holding a believe in a god is contrary to my understanding, and deeply offensive that all Buddhists are sinners and evil as the OP stated, utter rubbish deeply offensive and what twist you or anyone plays mind games with is water of a ducks back
