Totally untrue, especially in North America... if you don't state the side you're on you're a fence sitter and democracy will be lost. Only opportunists stay in the middle and manipulate voters for their own benefits. There is no more time for weakening or negotiating... the radicals have to be defeated in every nation of the world whether Trump wins the election or not and no one realizes this more than the people of Hong Kong and Christian in Chinese death camps fighting for freedom. GeneralBeacon: Lefties mostly disguise the truth regarding the extreme failures of socialism and communism and will never admit they are the problem. Some are ignorant of history, unable to understand facts, or just brainwashed being followers simply believing liars, misinformation, or manipulative powerful opportunists like Sanders since most snowflakes have no independent thinking or integrity. Hate rules their life as much as unresolved issues in their life and clinging to a corrupt ideology gives them power until reality sets in knowing they were used. Like a cult... no different with only a few escaping. My ancestors died to restore democracy in their homeland even helping Jews when no one else would and all members of my family are proud to be patriots. I see more on the right doing good for society and it happens every day.

Isn't it true that every political party thinks they hold the truth and everyone else is wrong?
How is it humanly good for society where "self appointed truth holders" treat others who think differently with such hatred? Doesn't society comprise those who agree and those who disagree with their views?

Extricate yourself from it? What if it's your own wife/husband/friend..or worse.your own child, what do you do then? Abandon them? After all, hateful people are someone's husband/wife/child/friend etc..etc...who's to say one of them isn't yours

GeneralBeacon: Well, I'm now basically keeping all my political comments and links in Mustang's thread until he gets back or if he gets back, or in relevant threads regarding politics like the type Tom, Lee, and others make... yet the haters still insult and are never happy. You have to remember... sometimes it has nothing to do with politics and more to do with the individual they hate. Then the victim card is shown and they claim to be innocent wanting to dominate others. Like I said many times before I have only one account, I don't flag anyone and I don't plan attacks privately... so it's pretty funny what the trolls come out with or how they try to discredit someone when they really have the issues.
It's all fuelled by the vocabulary used by posters accusing one another of trolling etc … none of it is conductive to civilised conversation and all of it feeds hate and disrespect … Great to focus political discussions a bit

Butterflygirl1: I maybe a bit naive around this but I never realised so many men had such a low opinion of woman. The negative remarks and comments shock me at times. I’m female so I’ve heard the men hating remarks from my friends and don’t like hearing them either.
Every time I read one of these comments all I can think is poor man who hurt you that much.

I was the same Butterfly. I'm 55 and not once in my life did I ever say things like "why do all men" or "all men are x y z" etc....I never blamed all men for the actions of one or two who behaved badly..I just put them down as being an ignorant moron and elbowed them to the kerb....Every time I read one of these comments all I can think is poor man who hurt you that much.

In the US at this point in time in history, I do feel almost all lefties are misguided ( especially in the UK and EU where socialists have surrendered to globalism brainwashed by misinformation and political tactics of control not even able to see the failures and destruction ), this is not the Kennedy era when most Democrats understood the threat of communism and were willing to fight... probably the main reason John and his brother were assassinated by the Mafia with Castro connections. Now Pelosi and the radicals in Congress have actually become communists in order to be elected and want to win by lying, corruption, and violence. Any Democrat who remains silent is pathetic and the only ones I respect are the ones who walked away from the party on principle and there is a lot of them including blacks and Hispanics who are now for Trump. They believe in liberty, justice, freedom of speech, and the Constitution more and should be honored.And the "righties" are doing good for society …
