Ya know, they REALLY need to come up with new scams. Answer phone. Guy I.Ds as Office Brown with Social Security office. Gee, what an original name. It is a recording..voice goes on really slowly about how number has been in fraud or something. hmmm....is he POSSIBLY reading off a script. Of course accented voice. If a mistake, push one. So here comes another accent reading the script. I said ya know, you need a new scam and learn to speak English so you sound local...click.
Later, ring and same thing. So push 1. Need to confirm I am me, name. I said you have my info already so who am I. And he tells me first name and MIDDLE! Gee, wouldn't you think they would know my correct name. Now he was to prove I am me. I said you have my SS number. He goes on and then says do you understand validation. I said yes. And also that this scam is so old it has whiskers. click...
Gee, I wonder why they keep hanging up on me. I'm being nice and not telling them where to stick it like so often.
Just got another call, real woman...they have the info that I suffer leg pains. Nope..healthy as a horse and no medical issues. uh...thank you click.
