Does anyone have anything else to talk about other that what they read on the internet.
All I see is quotes from reliable sources & some not so reliable.
Does your wold revolve around the news & the internet ?
Does anyone have any real life experiences they’d like to share?

My world doesn't revolve around the news but I am a news junkie. Sometimes I wish I didn't watch so much news. In the morning I watch Good America for two hours and at night the World News. I definitely don't live my world in the internet.

The problem with news channels is that they can brainwash you .
I try to avoid the news now , because it depresses me .
I know you’re not here 24/7 , unlike some , but do you have any hobbies , or pastimes you’d like to share ? wave

I could talk about my job, but you'd all find it boring. I deliver auto parts for a major parts store.

Absolutely cannon!
Thanks.
here a few outtakes of my recent half-dull but real life:
-It's snowing outside now, glad my winter tires that came with the (used 800pund)
car has nordic quality to them and is not too worn.
- just came home from an unsuccessful date (number 7) here locally
Not giving up.
-mye ex who still live with me is also there, she been humping
a guy a few days now, but still she's not sure if she finally "will be married away"
lol, she is like a sis to me now you see, roomates.
-tomorrow we'll have to drive out some christmas calenders to emplyees
from some firm (me a courier)
and that is frankly childish, but the socalled adults are children at heart ain't them.

So, not amazing but some kind of life going on.

Without going into too much detail I have health problems so I don't go out much and therefore watch a lot of tv. These days I'm recording two shows that take place in Canada. One is called Heavy Rescue 401 and the other is Highway Thru Hell. The roads in the mountains are narrow and sometimes have sharp curves. The theme is about tow truck drivers and rotator drivers rescue semi trailers that crash in heavy snow storms. I guess it's strange for a woman to be interested in such things but I find it interesting how these rescue drivers have to figure out how to get a semi trailer carrying 80,000 pounds of cargo back on the road after going down a deep mountain.

It’s amazing how people risk their lives as a profession.
I suppose it’s a sign that you need excitement in your life & the adrenaline of such programs keep you watching.
A bit like me with sport . Although I watch more than I indulge lately. wave

Nah, I don't need excitement in my life. It all started because I love snow which I had when I lived in New Jersey. Since I moved to North Carolina I never see or experience snow anymore so watching these shows is my way to have fun in the snow.

Didn't match good enough mate, you know.
By the way, it's the fast-meet variante, spoke limited online,
then just sprung out to have a coffy, not the full dinner.
Usually it's enough with seconds to know if it's a f-up.

Gotta turn in, c.ya

Recently there was an episode of an ice fisherman falling into the ice on a lake when he was in his jeep. These ice fisherman stay in little houses on the lake. A man parked his jeep on a spot that wasn't hardened. Nearby fisherman rescued him but the jeep had to be pulled out of the lake for environmental reasons. A rotator truck is itself sometimes 65,000 pounds. They extended the rotator arm from a bridge to the spot where the jeep was at the bottom of the lake. All that strength was needed to pull the jeep out of the lake after divers attached lines to the jeep. See all the excitement you are missing laugh

We don’t get so much snow here in London either , but when it does , the city shuts down , especially the transport system .
Snow if fun visually, but the chaos it causes isn’t so much .
To be honest , we don’t get a lot of sun either , so at least you get some sort of season in South Carolina laugh

I been out helping deliver food parcels round my area, it's always a shock to see so many people in need of help, it seems to have gotten worse in the run up to the holidays too, it can be so soul destroying that I am unable to do more, but at least I do try..sigh

I fell into a lake when I thought the ice had hardened many years ago .
Luckily the water was only a couple of feet deep & no rescue services needed . Just a few of my friends laughing their heads off & a bruised ego on my part doh help laugh

I lost part of my roof at the weekend. Can't get through to the insurance company. The local roofer that I would normally use says he'll get here when he can. Just have to hope the weather doesn't turn too bad. I'm not the worst case around here. Some people have lost their gable ends.
At least I have wine and chocolate.

The problem is , it’s getting worse & worse as this pandemic continues to ruin lives .
I remember in Greece when the country went into term-oil, everyone gathered round to help the needy & those who lost their livelihood as a result .
Even professionals searching in dustbins for any scrap they could find .
So sad .

There just doesn't seem to be any light at the end of the tunnel either, at least I have a big family that I can turn to if or when I need help, but seeing people with no one is just heart breaking.. On a happier note, I was gifted this for helping my neighbour clear his back yard after the storm at the weekend..tip hat
