Jaavisst: I have concern about Germany, that they have taken a decision to greatly build up their army again.
This can in the future have a very destabilizing effect because of old enemies England and France and the history between them.
Why they even are allowed by USA is strange.
Are we seeing fourth reich coming to life?
Concern about Germany? You should be concerned about Russia.
Germany has had a relatively small armed forces since WW2, for obvious reasons. Now it sees the danger around it and has decided it better get a bit stronger, reasonably enough.

Well, it's the same with books. To tell a story it's needed to expand it from bare minimum.

New version.
I was a hooligan, I saw crazy old rich women and tried to hit a police!
OK, was this more to your liking?

That's BS, Germany has had an substantial foreign legion stationed there since WW2.
Freeing up capital to motorize the world instead on arms spending.
If a plane lifts from Germany and drops a bomb, it doesn't matter what national symbol is on it.

Allegria46: you seriously need to change your Medication.....people with your point of view are called Reichsbürger here, and they all have these unrealistic unfounded views.
Don't you think if Germany stayed neutral It would be better for Country? Especially what they have done to the World and especially to USSR (1939-1945)

Just want to know your opinion conversing

They'd have to disband the E.U. unless it collapses under it's own weight.handshake

After donating to Biden's re-election company trillion dollars with all those sanctions EU put on Russia, they will go down anyway. Just a matter of time.
Then what the point to create a bigger army if economy is weak

It's hard to stay neutral when faced with evil.

Russia is a poor country that spends a lot on weapons whereas Europe is naively modern. A strong economy that spends almost nothing on the army believing that disputes can be overcome through trade, the rule of law and honest elections.

Basically Russia is equidistant between Europe and North Korea. Not just on a map but in the attitude to life itself.

And likewise with Ukraine. That is equidistant between Europe and Russia. If Russia is halfway to north Korea then Ukraine is one quarter of the way there. Not just on a map.

And in addition to all of this there's something belittling about global capitalism as it is to be like plankton in a tremendously large sea. Autarchy and the fortress men is this big fish in a small pond. The point is that you can beat your wife in lieu of a promotion at work, just like the old days.

King of the barnyard basically. You could be more of a somebody, and perhaps less anxious, by living in a priest-infected backwater where you're so much larger for having narrow horizons.

And then you would contrast that with Elon Musk that takes self-improvement and not being good enough as you are to a whole new level. You need to transcend the species to get away from our natural and lazy default.

And that's the point about science and real evidence. He only wins because he can prove that something is the case and he would make a terrible charlatan. It's not power of personality, he can only win the argument by being right.

Maybe I'm just a bit aspie myself but it's attractive for me to have no easy answers. Logically there is no actual difference between self-improvement and not being good enough as you are. One sounds like a positive and the other a negative, but the spin doesn't actually change the meaning.
