Ronald Reagan always used a teleprompter. Reagan's speeches were written by George Will and studied and practiced prior to being delivered. Reagan was a master at pretending to deliver a speech from memory - while actually reading from the teleprompter. As a trained actor, Reagan had excellent communication skills that were most often not his ideas, but ideas his aides and speech writer gave to him.I wonder if Ronald Reagan ever used a teleprompter?
