Almost from my earlest memories I've experienced ethnic and gender discrimination, but I don't have to worry about being gunned down by police for being on the way to the shop whilst black, or for being on my own porch whilst black. I was statistically less likely to have a stress related still birth, or child who died within a few hours.
It's a choice whether to apply my experience and knowledge in the interests of equality where everyone benefits, or whether to use it as an excuse to ignore the inequality that is, on the surface, to my advantage.
We all benefit from equality, more equal societies thrive more, so being proudly 'anti-woke' is ultimately self-defeating, short-sighted and foolish.
My best friend in Primary school from the age of 5 until 11 was a girl called Evalina. She had coffee coloured skin and afro hair. It was very rare that she was called names in school. On the vary rare occasion, some would call her a wog. Her Mother was dark skinned with afro hair and her father was white. Her brothers and sisters where white with straight hair and some with dark afro hair. We, as kids never even questioned anything. We were just kids having fun together, it was oblivious to us at that time. I'm not sure if this is true but my late Father who never used the word "Wog" told us kids that that's the word they used to use as it meant "Western Oriental Gentleman".....
jac_the_gripper: You forgot to preside over Great Britain.
There are 67.33 million people on the edge of their chairs here.
Are you a representative of Great Britain? I am sure the 67.33 million people are falling off of their chairs seeing what's going on in their country...
Interesting how you notice only when coloured kids are bullied at school If the school was in a predominantly coloured area you guys wouldn't give a dime if any kids were bullied there...
Well one thing is for sure as this thread alone has proved.
There is still a lot of" them and us" across the World . Why the need to denigrate others of a different ethnicity on a Forum thread. Do some consider themselves "better" than others or even more "informed"? Some of the personal comments on this thread leave a lot to be desired.
My country is better than yours attitude and what ethnicity are you is just so pathetic in this day and age and isn't it time we all worked towards integration instead of division. We have seen 2 World wars and could even be heading for a 3rd. Now that bothers me far more than petty spats between strangers.
Frankly speaking we all need to WAKE up and learn to get along .
It's not abot that Tiger. I have no problems with gays, muslims or blacks. It's about forcefeeding certain onesided values without balance. Especially to the kids.
When I grew up we had liberals and conservatives. They ablanced each other out. Now only one of thos is offiale accepted dogma.

Oh, and that was like 45 spelloes in a 40 word post...haha, sorry.

No, but you clearely want to define my nationality and our nationality in general.
Woke is an over-representation of minority groups in the media that angers the majority who would now screw those minorities over two-fold if there was no one to see it. The conspicuous consumption of diversity is extremely unpopular, I really would knock it on the head unless society miraculously becomes richer and younger.
Diversity is conformity at its worse. I wouldn't underestimate the woke and their game. They managed to lock you down for quite a long period of time and now they are telling you how many times you can travell per day, month, year... And how far you can go. The liberal dictatorship. The imaginary freedom one thinks they have until they leave the cage. It won't end well for sure, but many won't see it, because they are too much into it already and it begins to feel safe. Or they just don't believe it's serious enough, come on, we can handle this, can't we. It too shall pass until it doesn't. Having good intentions while entering the lion's den won't make the lion spare you.
I am really, really curious to hear what people think of this. Why UK, despite showering Ukraine with weapons is very tight on sheltering refugees from that same country. It doesn't seem to be the case with these young men from countries which are not war zones. Diversity? Inclusion? Equity?

An attention seeking hotelier who has only owned the Hotel for 18 months and ignores the fact that Skegness has one of the worst reputations as a holiday resort. The beaches are stunning but the whole area is surrounded by hundreds of caravan parks and in high season the place is full of undesirable Brits never mind refugees.
Butlins Skegness has a high percentage of Eastern Europeans working all year and has done for years . Boston a large market town is full of Eastern workers and also seasonal workers who work on the outlying agricultural farms .
Eastfields Market the largest 7 day European market at Fantasy Island is also run by foreigners .
Go to Bournemouth an outstanding beach resort in the South and you will find thousands there staying and working in the Brittania Hotel Group and for some years now.

Nothing new here Ten. Hope this satisfies your curiosity.
Over two hundred hotels are filled with illegal immigrant young men and you say it's nothing? Interesting. What about the Albanians flooding London? They are not EU country, not a war zone either. Are you blind or you live sheltered enough life to be bothered?!
