My CS journey has been quite an adventure! CS is a fantastic community, and I truly enjoy being here. However, there are a few individuals who make it unbearable at times.
As an African woman, I wanted to share my personal experiences on CS and hear the stories of women from other regions. So, please, feel free to share your experiences with me!
Let's keep things positive here, folks. This isn't a hate thread or an angry rant. It's just some random thoughts I wanted to share.
If my words put a smile on your face, that's awesome! Feel free to say hello. And if I unintentionally offended you, I apologize. It was never my intention.

Now, let's talk about some of the interesting characters I've encountered on CS:

The amazing souls: A shutout to the chosen few who turned out to be friends! Thanks for the delightful chats and for your time. You guys rock my CS world!

Sweet Humans: These lovable souls see the best in everything and bring smiles wherever they go. May they thrive and find happiness in every corner of the CS universe. Long live the sweetness!

The pervy ones: They insist on verifying your existence online and then proceed to demand a striptease or flash their bits before even saying hello. I mean, who needs a "hello" when you can have a "show"?

All Doom and Gloom Squad: Nothing positive escapes their lips. It's like they've taken a vow to suck the joy out of every conversation.

Superior Complex Crew: They can't help but boast endlessly about their supposedly fabulous countries while simultaneously belittling your region. Hey, pals, your region might be great, but let's not forget that every region has its own charm. Time to embrace the global love fest!

The Married Ones: They only have time for CS when they're at work or away from their partners. And guess what? They conveniently forget to upload a profile picture. Stealth mode engaged!

Youthful Gang: Those little whippersnappers who make me feel like an ancient dinosaur.

The Admins(my guess): These are the guardians of the CS realm, on a never-ending quest to uncover scammers we are forever grateful for their efforts, even though they sometimes fail to protect us from the perverts. Occasionally, these humans will grace your inbox, showing enough interest to keep the conversation going. They'll ask you several questions to ensure your genuineness. However, once satisfied/ or bored, they tend to disappear. You can often spot them by the respectable number of threads they have posted.

Occasional Texters: They mysteriously appear when you update your profile picture, claiming they're never around.

Penal Enthusiasts: Never really understood why they are on CS. These fine folks have zero interest in you but want to talk your ear off. They send messages longer than the CS terms of service, yet rarely mention anything about themselves. Polite and educated? Quite possibly. But concise? Absolutely not!

My App or the Highway: They believe you must download their magical app because the 100 you already have aren't "scammer-proof" enough. Oh, and if you refuse, they'll label you a scammer.

Western Superior Man: Ah, yes, they believe their white and Western heritage makes them the ultimate benefactors of humanity. Like they're doing us all a favour just by gracing us with their presence. Sorry, fellas, but being a superhero requires more than just geography and complexion.

The impatient souls: Their texts come with an urgency that suggests the world should pause its rotations until they receive an immediate response.

The perpetual "Picture Collectors": They have no profile pictures of their own, yet they bombard you with daily requests to change yours. Seriously, folks, invest in a mirror or a camera—problem solved!

The rest in comments.

The perpetual "Picture Collectors": They have no profile pictures of their own, yet they bombard you with daily requests to change yours. Seriously, folks, invest in a mirror or a camera—problem solved!

Shape-Shifting Squad: These crafty humans contact you with a different profile each time, always in a hurry to drop in their phone number which doesn't seem to change with the change of profiles.

Perfect Ones: They seem to have it all together—looks, career, and friends. We're not quite sure why they're on CS, but they'll engage in back-and-forth texting, get bored, and then disappear for months, only to resurface and text again as if nothing happened.

Exotic Expectations seekers: These curious individuals clutch onto outdated notions of an African spouse they desire. They long for a "true" African spouse, even though they do not reside in Africa. They often come armed with demands, aiming to mould you into their ideal image, all while promising to take care of you.

Last but not least, we have the "Sweet Humans" who see the best in everything. These lovable souls bring smiles wherever they go. May they thrive and find happiness in every corner of the CS universe.

Now before you tear me down I'm the furthest from perfect but I have a keen eye and am always in search of the next smile. Some will say no wonder she has not met anyone could be true. Now there's also a high chance I might be kicked off the site lol but if you are reading this smile and have a beautiful day ahead.

English is also not my first language but third so please ignore the gramma and the typo.handshake

Good list, one more to add.

The odd balls. Those like myself, never makes sense, life is a joke to them. Most posts are nonsense but generally harmless.

Accept or hate you, I think you are one of the genuine person on CS.
You tell your story, you are who you said you are, and you don't try to impress to be accepted.

If most would follow your approach, there will be less frustration, anger, and disappointments on CS.

Its so much easier to be myself. If I were to lie and stuff, then I'd have to remember the lies and then compound lies with more lies and besides, its dishonest. I would rather people be themselves with me so why wouldn't I do the same.

I know it turns some off people because I'm not exactly a typical person but it attracts the right people, those who accept me for what I really am and not for something that I'm not.

Wow...I enjoyed the read. thumbs up

I could say that my CS life has been as adventurous as yours. I've met all those characters.

What about those who try to impress you with their knowledge, their assets, and their conquests?
How do you deal with those?
Wow! Really? Fascinating! OMG!
Those are the most boring ones, IMHO!
They're usually very insecure characters

Please continue being the wonderful man you are. Continue being the oh so sweet Track, and don't ever let anyone try to change you.teddybear

Then there are the men, whose first mail is all about sx, especially if you're a black woman (some of my experiences so far), or you exchange a few messages, then they want to know if you'll have sx with them if and when you meet, if you say no, you're frigid and or call you all sorts of nasty words. If you're lucky, all contact ends with your saying "no".

Others pretend to want a serious relationship, and when you meet them, within minutes of meeting, they want to have sx.

Not forgetting the men who say they're honest and are single, have photos in their profiles from when they were in their 30-50's, or saying they're younger than their actual age, and when you meet then..... they look and are much older than in their profiles and are either married or in a relationship.

Pippa4: Never met anyone like that on CS
@Pippa: Sorry to say, but sometimes it's a matter of skin complexion (not wanting to make the blog about race).

I've met 2 men from here, one by chance in the city whilst shopping. Didn't know he had a profile here, as there's no pic. Not only was he in a relationship, he admitted it to me, after I noticed the ring, but after a few more words, he asked if we could to go to my place for sx.

A few months ago, I went on an actual date with a man I chatted with here, his profile pic is old, and when we're met he looked and behaved even much older then his age in the profile.... he seemed to be mid 70', although his profile said 68.

I didn't want to meet him again, as I felt there wasn't any chemistry between us. He didn't like the idea of me saying no to him, so in the end, I had to block him on my phone and here.

I don't find the site bad, love reading the blogs from all over the world and getting inspiration from the food blogs, that's why I keep rejoining. Don't think I'l find a partner here, but you never know.
