Did you mean you were being forced to accept or die?

Or did you mean at the moment of choice it was their god you saw?

Forced... Kill me I'll stick with mine

If it was theirs I saw My whole belief structure would shatter.

Me too.
Depends on if their God was the same as mine.
Mine works well for me. Sticking with mine, He has done well for me so far.

Pretty sure hers is the same as mine. ...and Dusty's and Asianboys' and...

My belief is that true religion is in right action, respect and compassion for others, beyond that, we can argue until we find die...then we'll know after we've wasted our time (that was supposed to be used tending the "garden.") Honoring our position in the world by honoring those above and below.

<<<<Spiritually diverse. I practice a kind of Christian Bushido.

...in every situation each person's decision impacts countless others around them...how arrogant of human beings to think of ourselves as alone. Nice to know others feel the same there is no "Them" or "Those People" just us trying to live together with respect and compassion...what a beautiful world. wink

hell no!

I don't adore anyone's God.

Already dies before... not afraid of it, other than my kids needing me.

I would rather die with my dignity, and self, and integrity in tact.

Yep....

I'd say anything they wanted to hear.

And I'd live.

Inside I'd keep my own faith. Because what does it matter what other people think.

To change the name of your God wouldn't change your believes, would they?
Does it matter how we call Him? There is and will only be the one when all is said and done.

what about us so called pagan-in-denials? LOL!

maurice/(darkhorseman) once told me there was, nor should be denial...to embrace my beliefs, and bow to know one...

We do hold power... more than anything we understand.
No, I still would not! Do continue male dominance in voilence by rejecting, and ADORING another's belief..

can't do it. won't.

Well, Nene being a Pagan is a way of life. It should filter through everything that they do and how they relate to the world and everything in it. The main difference from other (let's call it Earthy religion)Pagans of whatever form, should not only "talk the talk" but "walk the walk" ... I love to walk grin

Greetings, Mark,

With all respect....

TabooN's life is itself an extraordinary demonstration of positive courage and beauty in practice. Sometimes her words can seem cynical, but I am guessing that that is because she has lived through far more than her share of life's horrors. Behind all that has risen a woman of singular strength, hope and compassion.

Cheers to you, TabooN, and to Mark too, and all others who have emerged from difficult times with our faces still turned toward the wind and with a song still on our lips.
