So what? That is what freedom is all about. Like I said earlier there can be no evolution without the freedom to error. some people may never change there mind. But Bush's rating is 3%, why do you people care so much that EVERYONE don't think just like you.

There are always people that dislike sending troops to overseas, particularly in Germany, but I am able to relate this.
It costs a lot of money (even the German army has no cash for painting the barracks in their own country)
I believe the German army was founded after the world war, the basic principle was, using weapons only for defense in own country, traceable for the disaster happend in Europe from 1939 - 1945.
Many people in the country remember that.
PS: In those days (1933) a guy promised not tax free gasoline or no VAT, but jobs for all, cars and free holidays for everybody... and won the election....

Yes, but that's ages ago and thankfully Germany learned from it. And the reason that people don't want to send out the military is for the same reason not just economically. After being almost completely destroyed during WWII it became obvious for future generations that exaggerated nationalism and invading other countries does not lead to any good.

I posted before that his approval rating is about 38 % at the moment and I do care about it because it has an effect on me. Resources and taxes are being wasted while they would be much needed for health care, schools, etc. And none of it made anyone any safer.

With 30 % of the money abducted into Militarism - a free school and university system with free medical assistance to a whole generation in your country could have been paid for.
with another 30 % a wonderful peace effort - making the world a saver place could have been financed and it would have brought the US real glory - long term allies and business.
The trillion of taxes and credits taken to finance this wars are the glory of hedgefonds not of American freedom and respect of human life in the world.

Actually, nobody is blaming the soldiers. They do what they are told. We feel sorry for them because most have been tricked into this war under false pretenses while the troops themselves had good intentions trying to do the right thing. It's very unfortunate that so many people had to die on either side for no reason. Yes, no reason. The fact that it's not their fault makes it worse. That's why I can't understand why you still support a man who continues to kill them and others.

I don't see you making any progress and changing anyone's mind on a dating site. If you like to fight politics there are political forums. I have been there and trust me there are many different opinions on this situation and you may have to evolve a little yourself. There are some well educated conservatives who use very good English and grammar skills so you wouldn't be able to criticize them for that. They would probably slap you around a bit with their own facts. They have them.
