I've never done it myself but I can certainly see why someone would. Putting so much effort into a nice email then getting no response or a "no thank you" email back. Alot of time wasted.

well i'm sure ur mail could be saved somewhere n used as and when, or maybe some peeps just send out batches. as it was said it does seem like a bit of a waste of time if u have written a lovely long mail only to have it ignored or to be given the brush off
