in my interpretation of
Dan 12:4 But you, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.
it simply means that at that time people would travel a distance to spread the word of the testaments - does not imply anything regarding today
The romans were an extremely advanced race - glass, pottery, self building panel based forts, long distance communication towers using fire cauldrons, semiphore signalling, automatic weapons made of wood
all the things that We all lost in the darkages but we take for granted now!!
Oh yes who can forget David Koresh from Waco TX. The man claimed to be Christ.. LOL well I laugh because some people are just crazy, but this David Koresh has done one thing that he and many have done before him and of course there are many today, fulfilling Bible Prophecy...
Mat 24:3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?
Jesus' responds and his 1st response is this.
Mat 24:5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
Well your interpretation would be invalid because you don't believe in it right? See you took only part of that Scripture and elabortaed from it, you left out the part where it say's seal until the time of the end. Many atheist are pro's at doing this. Nothing new, in fact I expect it.
If I wanted lawyer advise, would I call on someone who went to School for this, or choose someone that has basic ideas of what might happen pertaining to my case?
LOL I love it when atheist state such claims, because they show us their Bible illiteracy. On the Contrary my friend the entire 12th Chapter is about the end times lol Before making such claims please read, it helps you look educated on such matters.
This is how I know I can pick one Scripture of the 13 verses found in the 12th Chapter, because it's all about the end times, and one of those Scriptures tells us knowledge shall be increased, as the one quoted in verse four.
Just as Genesis is the book of beginnings, Revelation is the book of consummation. In it, the divine program of redemption is brought to fruition, and the holy name of God is vindicated before creation. Although there are numerous prophecies in the Gospels and Epistles, Revelation is the only New Testament book that focuses primarily on prophetic events. It's title means "unveiling" or "discourse." Thus, the book is an unveiling of the character and program of God. Penned by John during his exile on the Island of Patmos, Revelation centers around visions and symbols of the resurrected Christ, who alone has authority to judge the earth, to remake it, and to rule it in righteousness. The title of this book in the Greek text is Apokalypsis Ioannou, "Revelation of John." It is also know as the Apocalypse, a transliteration of the word apokalupsis, meaning "unveiling," "disclourse," or "revelation." Do you have questions about this book?

actually
there was an interesting documentary about the book where by it points out that many of the writtings are linked to Greek numerology and actually being about the roman occupoation during his lifetime - it was not intended as a 'prophecy' but as a coded history of the suppressive empire!!
i have read the old testament and found it to be very much an account of the times, not a simply history book, but i felt it had an ellement of truth.
he new testamne t i find very strained and obvious in its purpose - its a simplistic set of stories intended to aid poeple in following a socific path
The Old Testament from the very first book of Genesis - Malachi was to prepare the nation of Israel for the arrival of their Savior.
The very 1st book in the Old Testament; Genesis 3:15 God tells Satan that He will put enmity between him (Satan) and the woman's seed (Jesus). Bible Prophecy of His coming
In Malachi the last book of the Old Testament in Chapter 3:1 it reads
"Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the LORD of hosts."
So of course the New Testament tells us how we should live (now). That the old covenant is destroyed (and how man should have lived then). And a new covenant God has made with mankind. SO yes there is a big difference between the two.. 1/2 of the Old Testament (OT) is Bible Prophecy. In every book of the OT there is prophecy written in them. Now in the New Testament (NT) there is prophecy about his coming again.
Tiny I dont wish to argue either. but the Bible has been proven by history and events told in the Bible 1000s of yrs ago. Also I once heard a quote to be an atheist is alright to live by but its not alright to die by.
