I wasn't trying to insult you buddy. I was just trying to point out that, like smokers, you evidently have preferences which involve a degree of risk. So do bungee jumpers and skydivers. Even driving your car to the grocery store involves a degree of risk. You can even injure yourself by just going to bed.
Many of us like doing things which might not be good for us. Everyone has their own unique tolerance for taking certain risks.
Your humorous post really was an insult to anyone who has made choices different from your own and, since I've heard several versions of your joke about fifty-thousand times (usually by people who take government financed propaganda seriously), it just ain't so funny anymore.
