The best thing about living in Malta is that if you live in Malta you can appreciate what you're missing if you were living in Gozo.

The worst thing about living in Malta is that Malta sucks big time compared to its lovely sister island of Gozo.

for me the good things about malta are the easy go lifestyle, cheap alcohol, and the warm winters.

not soo good things about malta are its such as small island you can see everything in a week, too hot in summer, no fields and open spaces/forests etc, and also finding female friends to hang out with.

I'm still curious as to where Maltese go for vacations, as so many come to Malta for theirs? The surrounding European countries or North Africa, or perhaps England since so many seem to be of English background??

i love gozo because it is small and beautiful and not overcrowded like in malta..........also the girls here don't shave so their moustaches tickle youkiss

the worst thing about gozo is having to go across on the ferry to malta when i have to fly away

the best thing about arriving in the uk is seeing real green fields if it's a day flight - the worst thing is feeling waht causes the green fields - the pigging' rain......

if you live in malta and dont travel you miss out on alot ie: green fields, mountains, forests, snow, rivers but to name a few. its lovely to live on an island like malta but you have to travel and experience new cultures, scenery and lifestyles.

Hey! We have Buskett (ok so an ant could cross it in 10 minutes at a steady march) and Chadwick Lakes (I'll admit they aren't the Niagra Falls) haven't we?

What more could you want?!

Erm...Well Gozo has the three hills. And there is always the Maghtab landfill.

And who needs snow in Malta? Our buildings and roads can't take it.

Goodnight lady. I have to be up for work early tomorrow.

Yes of course all countries have their own beauty, but we are mentioning Malta in this thread.

Snow is beautiful but it is way too cold for me when it snows. Green grass everywhere is VERY nice, but constant rain keeps it green, and I surely can't live with that.

I have been abroad and appreciate the diversity of other countries and I will extend my travel experience in two weeks, as I will visit another 5 different places, but still no place like home for me!

The Maltese islands are a great base to live in. We all [well, most of us] need a change of scenery now and again....but these islands are 'home' to me and, even if I go away, I always want to come back.

I'd love to live here and have a holiday home in Switzerland, or Austria, or Bavaria in Germany.

cheers
