i guess it is both... it hurts if you love someone but that person does not love you and it also hurts if you like someone but you never tell them how you feel... so it is a loose loose situation imo

It was just a quote, i was not saying it was about me and my feelings, although i think most people do find it hard to say how one feels in a relationship as not to feel vunerable if the feeling is not returned.
