Three of Italy's most acclaimed veteran popular musicians - Claudio Baglioni, Riccardo Cocciante and Gianni Morandi - joined forces and voices for the first time ever at the CiaO'Scià concert at the Valletta Waterfront yesterday, welcoming among them on stage local singers Ira Losco, Ivan Filletti and Ivan Grech of Winter Moods.
The event, aimed at raising awareness of the issue of illegal migration, integration and solidarity between cultures, was packed with surprises, thrilling duets and the unprecedented performances, which may never be repeated, of the three music giants together, with their energetic medleys and trips down memory lane.
The friends crossed repertoires in a show of spontaneity and talent that sparked emotions and enthusiasm from a crowd that was spoilt for choice as the all-time Italian hits rolled on.
CiaO'Scià was opened by Baglioni - the man behind the initiative - singing Io sono qui, and was presented by Italian TV personality Fabrizio Frizzi and Louise Tedesco.
Baglioni, who sang anthems like Questo piccolo grande amore and Mille giorni di te e di me, with his own band, also accompanied the local artistes on the piano, singing Almeno tu nell'universo with Ira Losco, and sending shivers down spines.
Cocciante wowed the audience with the timeless Se stiamo insieme and Margherita, while Gianni Morandi, who has been mobbed by Maltese fans, particularly middle-aged women, delighted them with golden oldies like Bella signora and a string of other tracks that have withstood the test of time.
The concert came to a close with both local and foreign artistes on stage, singing Nel blu dipinto di blu.
i guess it is both... it hurts if you love someone but that person does not love you and it also hurts if you like someone but you never tell them how you feel... so it is a loose loose situation imo
Well rusty... in plain english.. even a friend who as you mentioned is a very very good friend is worth taking to bacchus... lust has nothing to do with it... it is a romantic restaurant too but it is also a very nice place were normal people go and have dinner.. at the end of thd day its the way you interpret the place... i go there cause i like my food and they have one mean chef, the atmosphere is nice and makes a difference in summer
moods can affect the way we talk to one another and the was we decide and act and it is known, when we are in a bad mood we dont take rational decisions

in my country marriage is still very sacred and it is a kind of disgrace if you dont get married, although the trend like in the rest of the world is changing, marriages are failing, and separations are more common.. divorce is not legal in our country, since we are very religious... now thats a sarcastic ending isn't it!
