i joined it a while back
then deleted my account
i find it messy and confusing and a bit childish, i think it would appeal to teens a lot
it has all these " applications" you have to keep on adding everytime you want to do something on there
and you end up with all these "friends" on ya list you've never ever seen before

My son asked me to join Facebook so that his vampire could bite me or something strange and he would get points?? Anyway, I joined and never really thought anything of it. Last week I was notified that I had received a mail in Facebook. I was really astonished, a friend that I had lost touch with over 10 years' ago had done a search for me and found me - its been fantastic catching up and I have since got together with a lot of other mutual friends as well. So its a thumbsup for me

I found it to be a waste of time as well.
I agree that it was very confusing too.
I didnt get anything out of it. I delete my profile after about 2 or 3 weeks of being a member. I still get emails from that website telling me that I have new mail, even though it told me my account was deleted.

I have it, cant say I use it alot. I mainly go in there to check new pictures of my friends and family..same thing for myspace, except there I check on my kids.
