Yes! Of couse! This must have been exactly how it was!
(Amazing how the pants I was wearing all of a sudden rode up and gave way to bare thighs!!!) But, yes, for the sake of my pride, let's all assume I was lying in unconscious flair and style!!!

Thank you! And, you know what??? I'm not too modest to say that I think I truly AM a good person! (But, then again, I have a recent head injury...what the hell do I know???) rolling on the floor laughing

I think that our general interactions with other people determine how we really feel about ourselves and that how we feel about ourselves attracts the experiences we have.

I do not think there is any nonphysical entity keeping the score as to the good or bad that we do because we subconsciously reward or punish ourselves by attracting the appropriate personalities and circumstances into our experiences.

Then when our conscious minds realize what has happened, and probably the reason behind it, we have that "Ah-hah" moment.. Oh yeah, a moment of enlightenment.

There are enough good people in this world to create a heaven. But there are also enough bad people here to make our lives a living hell.

Is that the old lady who immediately asked me how much I wanted to run her into town? doh Or the old lady I gave a lift to that stunk my car out with onions for weeks?? laugh

When I think of it though....... maybe we are not supposed to have an opportunity to pay them back,eh? Then we'd be quits, yeah? And that's not what it's all about, is it?? Its just meant to be...... well, ultruistic, yes?

God bless 'em.... bloody hell, I'm fillin' up again!! cheers

(I'm bloody useless, ya know!!!). roll eyes

That must have been frightening at the time, but I am glad you are ok. The shopkeeper is what most of the world is like. We just don't hear about it often enough.

Thanks for sharing that story!!
