Personally I like chili with my crackers.

chili can be made many ways. When working for a vegetarian establishment I used to use vegetable and beans with the tomato base. A friend of mine makes red potato chili...no beans. Daughter in law makes it with sausage, pepperoni and hamburg...chili pepper and beans in a tomato base...that is actually pretty good. I don't care for the kidney beans but some of the others are ok. Its whatever you want to put in the pot.....

Absolutely I put a mixture of dark and light kidney beans in my chili. I also use half ground beef and half ground sausage.

My mother had a recipe for white chili - chicken and I think they were navy beans. Made it a few times - incredible. Note to self: Make it again sometime...

you guys are funny tonight. The chili with the navy beans I have made before and you are quite right, Robert...its great. Beans belong in chili...but Dan, ya can pick them out..........LOL........so, people...do you like your chili hot, medium or mild???
