Not me as a I dislike beans and think it is not a true chili but a tex-mex combo

chili can be made many ways. When working for a vegetarian establishment I used to use vegetable and beans with the tomato base. A friend of mine makes red potato chili...no beans. Daughter in law makes it with sausage, pepperoni and hamburg...chili pepper and beans in a tomato base...that is actually pretty good. I don't care for the kidney beans but some of the others are ok. Its whatever you want to put in the pot.....conversing

Absolutely I put a mixture of dark and light kidney beans in my chili. I also use half ground beef and half ground sausage.

Kidney beans are what I use, but I know someone who won a chili contest with pinto beans

It was the best chili I ever had!!applause

My mother had a recipe for white chili - chicken and I think they were navy beans. Made it a few times - incredible. Note to self: Make it again sometime...

ok some of these recipes sound pretty good!

i like beans in my chili personally.........but i like turkey chili better than beef....but that's just me*shrugs*

maybe a little tijuana gold or jamican red...... oops wrong type of pot i usually just open a can, dump it into a bowl & zap it in the microwave

you guys are funny tonight. The chili with the navy beans I have made before and you are quite right, Robert...its great. Beans belong in chili...but Dan, ya can pick them out..........LOL........so, people...do you like your chili hot, medium or mild???
