and another recently regarding why people lie
my answer was insecurity and fear
i just met someone
it was a shambles
i dont think he is a scammer or a player
i think he is a hurting person who ends up hurting others
i know his insecurity drove him to invade my privacy
life goes on
what direction do we want to take it?

I can only guess he was either married, or very insecure of what you would think of him in person? Just 2 guesses. As to the not calling or responding to your voice mails, I can only assume he was scared of the reaction/confrontation that could ensue.

In the end, any action you do...phoning or not...decide which to take on the basis for your own benefit at this stage not his. It all depends what makes you feel better, and people are different in this...I mean:
Option 1
You call, not for HIS sake, but to satisfy your curiosity of what happened and to get closure...kind of you took the liberty to call for your sake only and to get him out of your system faster.
Option 2
Not calling. That means you have decided that its a closed chapter already, as no one is entitled to treat you that way, plus you dont give him anymore "attention" that he doesnt deserver in the first place.
Which makes you feel only you can know
