is there a difference in the nature of how men and women act towards relationships? who will be the provider? who will be the ''stay at home partner''.
Hi Pearl.. congratulations on winning Ms CS 2008 by the way... thats a really good question... I think we would all like the utopian ideal of equality in relationships, but they rarely are.. there is alway one strong and one less strong (not weak per se)... In my experience though it can be either the man or the woman... two strong people normally causes fire :fire:... I think quiet men are often attracted to strong women and vice versa.. just a thought.. what do u think?
ohh there is a startling difference how men view it !! Though a lot of women wouldnt mind doing either.
Then again it depends on where you live and the culture you follow.
Personally , i prefer both of them doing something in terms of providing more for their own satisfaction and personal growth . Stay at home .. ermmm... it would be boring for either. Why not utilise the time usefully.
If they have children too it can be sorted in an understanding manner.
i think that there is no such thing as a completely equal relationship.think that one partner will always be the dominant one. whether it be the woman or the man.as a relationship goes on, more equality between partners develops.in my opinion this is because they both learn to trust each other more as time goes on.so i say that with months years and days equality and trust are following closely behind.
True... I think the 'power' becomes more evenly dispersed over time as trust and commitment grow.. u'll still find though and its quite 'cute' actually that each partner has power over the other in certain aspects... but as a partnership the power is shared...
i also believe in equality in a relationship, gone have the days where the woman would stay home and the man would go out to work. times are changing and for the better!
