This didn't go down a storm on the International Forum, but take a look at perhaps the definitive American blonde bimbo displaying her great knowledge of Europe.

I posted a link to the same clip some time ago, just asking if she was for real...

Never ceases to amaze me how ignorant and stupid it's possible to be, and I'm sure she's not the only one...

doh jaw drop

But it's a good one!

When I tried it out, I got a page not found message or something on those lines. If I'm not mistaken, the only difference is the 2nd character from the right. It should be a 3 instead of an R.

Post the link afresh, if you want some comments on the Intl Forums.

Hey!!...don't knock her!!...some men are only too glad to have a blonde at home, wether she's good at geography or not....reminds me of an article I recently read about why Swiss men are increasingly going abroad to find mates.....the case in point was a beautiful Russian woman, who had hooked up with a young, successful Swiss businessman...he said that she was quite happy to stay at home, make it nice and cosy, iron his shirts, have his kids... blah-blah, all that stuff......he asked which modern day Swiss woman would accept the role of homemaker and domestic and be happy with her lot......so, heck, each to his own....

I hope that was tongue in cheek Mr Lagoona!

But yes you're right, the only women happy to live a life of boredom and drudgery would have to be poor and or uneducated.

Do these men really enjoy coming home after a hard days work only to find that the little woman can only discuss the price of beef and what's happened in the latest soap? Oh no I forgot these same men are usually inclined to maintain lives outside the home...because it's their right of course!

Oh...and another thing...I don't necessarily think that the "little" woman who stays at home, and does "mom" for a living is necessarily stupid or dumb. I once met a renowned religious scholar with multiple degrees behind his name, and a chair at an illustrious german University.....he was one of the most stupid men I have ever met...had absolutely no emotional intelligence.....he was only interested in hearing himself speak. What a bloody bore!!.....my ex girlfriend was a latin woman who stayed at home to raise her 2 kids....she served drinks part-time....she had the mind of a mystic...the discussions we had!.....go figure....I came to the conclusion that theere are many types of intelligence.....only one of them being academic....people are like a box of chocolates, and you know the rest.....

Jan I have a friend my age who has brought her kids on her own so never really worked as she was an "at home Mum" ...

Her dream is now to meet someone who she would be happy with and her aspiration for herself is to "make a home" and look after it. She is not stupid or uneducated. That is what she would love to do ... And what she always wanted ... She is however more than capable od discussing any subject ...

In my opinion there is no right or wrong ... each person - man or woman - has different needs ... the tricky bit is forming couples who trully complement one anoter in their needs ... And lets face it many of us on here haven't been to successfull at doing that in the past... laugh

Oh!! And I know a few people who are only interested in discussing the price of beef and the latest soap although they have full time jobs (both male and female) - may add football match results to the list too!!! rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing

Flower....I haven't met all the people in the world yet, altho I'd like to (not likely, I work alone...)....but I have met some very simple country folk with very limited education.....one or two stick in my mind....
..I think wisdom is different to education, the one supports the other, but you can also have the one without having the other, if you understand my meaning....

Oh...and another thing....I entirely agree with you.

I too know many academically bright people who are crashing bores AND stay at home women who are highly intelligent, I obviously hit a raw nerve with you, but perhaps I didn't word my post as clearly as I should have. I wasn't trying to generalise at all but the fact remains there are many women who choose this lifestyle because they are basically homebodies )nothing wrong with that) and many who also do it for their own ends. Some men too prefer to find a woman like this because it enables them to retain most of the power in the relationship.

As you say "different strokes..."

In total agreement Lago!! cheers grin

I also think there is a different between being clever (without education may be) and being academically intelligent

so there are quite a few subtle differences:

Cleverness
Emotional intelligence
Academic intelligence
Wisdom

Oh come on Jan, don't agree with me!!...I love a good argument, especially if it's accompanied by a bottle of wine and has to do with dumb blondes......ho ho ho...(sorry, I forgot, Christmas is over....)...laugh
