Now are most looking for convenice or what? I don't understand, I thought love was to surpass miles... any thoughts, I need feedback,lol;)

I totally agree with nwnstar. My kids live with me, I have a job here. My life is here. It would be hard to simply travel 300 miles every so often to visit. Trying to maintain a long distance relationship would be a tremendous hardship. Fortunately, I live in a large metropolitan area, so there ought to be a lady here I could be compatible with. Now, all I need to do is find her.

it is like a man trying to put all woman in the same category,which cannot be done.cause all woman are differt.
if you meet someone online and you want to meet them,you can always meet them in the middle.
being a woman you might want to meet them with alot of people around.
but when 2 people meet online anyhing can happen,it is up to them to see where they want to go with it.
anything is possible you just have to be willing to find out where it will lead.be willing to meet half way with each other

OK, sorry that stament was in general, not meaning specfic men. I agree about meeting in the middle, and I agree with the others, when you have kids it's a little different that's what babysitter's are for. I love my kids to death and wouldn't want them around when I just met someone either. you never know what will happen. But I just would like to meet someone i'm talking to on here, they have a child to, it's not been talked about, but I just want him to be the night in shining honor,lol, ya know? I really don't think they exist anymore... He's so sweet.... anyone ever meet anyone and felt like that?

Have not met anybody like that. Far as distance to me there are limits but a couple hundred miles is no biggie. Weekends are best for this in my opinion. Would be nice to meet halfway to share the burden, but if both parties felt the same and it was working out, i wouldnt have much a problem making the effort to make love happen. Situations are different for everyone tho. I am a father of 1 daughter and would make the arrangements to do so, if I was ever in the position to have to do so.

I may not have any kids living with me at the moment but I do have a son I see every other weekend. Four more years, he graduates from high school and then I can think about picking up roots. My sweetheart lives 745 miles away and I'm going to do my darndest to keep it going
