jbibiza: I started out answering all messages and responding to flowers sent... but found that it actually causes more problems then ignoring them does. When I would send a polite reply explaining why I wasn't interested, or why I thought we were not a good match... I would often get an abusive or accusatory response, when I ignore them I never hear back.
If I see someone has really put some time into the message then I do respond, but if it's a single line... you're hot, lets hook up, I'm the guy for you, etc. I delete.
When reading the thread, I thought this might be a problem. Some people do not want to be rejected, failing to realize it takes two interested parties for anything to go anywhere. It happens in business all the time and is especially intense when romantic implications are involved.
Me, I think not..so no, its not rude to not answer every email, but i do try to answer most flowers unless they are rude to begin with...its a choice, not an obligation..

I agree if you are genuinely not looking/interested then I don't believe it is fair to send out mixed messages... I delete all but the friends that mail through here...
Agree that it can seems rude.........But I understand it also and think it is normal not to reply some times. This connection we can have through the net is so complicated some times and therfor some people they just are not able to reply. I am sure not replying means not interested and Me personaly accept it as a NO!
Well since I'm an adult...I suppose I can reply to whom I choose...If that makes me rude then so be it...I refuse to explain myself to someone I don't even know as to why I may not be interested...My friends and the odd nice flower or e-mail is what I normally choose to respond too..
