You are obviously new here. I wrote the same thing as you when I first began here, wearing my heart on my sleeve. I used to think it was me, but some people are not good with words when it comes to having to reject someone, so they just do not respond. Give it some time, show your true colours in the forums and then the responses will come...

Always a difficult one, sometimes I have not replied have to admit, but has happened to me and thought thats how it worked.
Like when you smile at someone and they don't smile back, says it all!
Do try these days to answer most, but not when they declare love and marriage in contact message!
And some people don't take polite put off and keep trying!

good luck to you anyway

The only emails I don't reply to are those from guys saying "You're hot" or from guys who are obviously too young for me.

Asking politely for a reply one way or the other may help if you are sensitive to rejection.

And believe me, rejection happens to women too!!!

Sorry to say I did that to someone but had good reason. My best friend met him and he was bad news. I just didn't want to get into that sort of thing with someone. But I have replyed to all others I get. No it wasn't him I'm talking about, just so there isn't any misunderstanding or someone thinking it was. Some do it not being rude but figure if no email back they get the idea their not interested I guess. Which some take as being rude. So pick ya another one, they probably will return your email one way or the other. And why do all the good looking guys live so far from me!!! lol

I would rather have no response. I received one from someone relatively close that read " I wish to have no further communications with you" which stabbed home far worse than not having a reply.....

I personally would rather get a rejection letter than anything else. Nothing more that I hate then spending 30 minites or so writing up a message and it gets deleted before its even looked at!!!! I can take reject, I'm 30 and still single, its apart of life;)
