hey guys, stop laughin at the poor dude, hey came on to try get some advice.. it takes balls to put yourself out there with a question like this.. my advice to you is that 2 years is not a major difference in age at all, but is that the reason? if there is another reason for not proposing just sit down and talk with her about it, and set a plan with her.. but i would propose, and not set a date to marry until your really ready all round like financially and settled with a place to stay and all that stuff..
