The beauty silence holds
I opened my eyes this morning
as in all others
But I heard silence
It was peaceful
No alarm clock
No quiet hum of the pumps in the aquariums
Just silence
Yet..the silence was in it'self deafening
The silence of my room meant I heard nothing at all
But there was an echo
Can it be that there is a echo to silence?
Slowly, the silence repeated itself
again...and again..and yet again.
Oh, those echos
They were growing louder,'instead of softer?
But the choes of silence took form
As I turned in my half dreamed state....to find
Her
Laying beside me
Watching her
breathing
Understanding the echos...
Understanding the silence...
It wasn't silence at all, but contentment,
and bliss
Blocking out everything else in the universe
And knowing that the silence found in fulfillment,
and love...is the loudest of all silences
I had to write this because BajanBlue is dabbling in humor threads and had aboandoned her post!!
