We are not asking you to support the WAR.....
WE are asking to support the brave men and women over there.
I don't support the war either but I WILL SUPPORT my brother and my many friends over there that are still there, have been there, going there, and have died over there.
I might be in Iceland but I'm 100% American and will support ALL the troops over there.

Our Government sent them over threr, yes. But who are the one pulling the triger to kill others on their own soil?
Bring all of our troops home, if some other country comes here to fight us, and our troops are defending our country dirrectly.. then I will be one of the first to support them. I would also take up arms myself.

I don't support the war, so how could I support the troops in prosecuting it. I'm not blaming them but I don't support them. I don't understand how people can think that the troops have nothing to do with the war?
However, I do hope they get home alive and well ......and also that they don't kill any more people in Iraq.

Footnote: This is an INTERNATIONAL forum...."the troops" like "the President" are not the same for everyone....my President is a woman and I am very proud of her. My troops operate internationally in legal UN operations - most recently in Liberia and upcoming in Chad.
However, I do hope they get home alive and well ......and also that they don't kill any more people in Iraq.

Look up the difference between SUPPORT the troops or- Praying for them to return home safe!

Although I don't support the war..I support our troops 100% and yes I will wear red on Friday to show my support...I highly respect the men and women who are brave enough to go off to war...knowing full well they may never come back...that takes a special kind of person....

I support the troops...but wearing red will do nothing for them. It's a silly thing that people do to make themselves feel good! Wearing red will accomplish nothing...they won't even know you are doing it!!
This works the same as not buying gas on a certain day!! It's redundant and infantile. Why double up on gas Monday just so you don't buy it Tuesday. The same amount of moneyt is being made

I disagree...The government made the decision to go to war.....The troops are supporting their respective countries...They are not the government...they don't make the decisions..yet they volunteered to go and fight....Whatever reason the government had for invading Iraq...isn't the reason I'm sure each man and woman chose to go and fight...I'm sure to them it was for the right reasons and they are brave to do so!!!!!!!!
