At what point would you think about blocking someone? I mean if they really live far away and you do not see anything developing, do you just keep getting emails?

I very very seldom block people...and its usually because their email i found offensive (and i am not offended easily) some are just downright rude and too opinioned for my taste...but if i do block someone its forever...you don't get a second chance to make a first impression

I have only blocked three men who were harrassing me in different ways, and I have no intention of unblocking them. One guy came back with a new profile and started all over... so... only one thing to do really...
I have only been blocked by one person as far as I know - and for the life of me I do not understand why... I have never to my knowledge done anything to offend this person... it saddens me and feels very humiliating, especially since this person usually advocates love and understanding between people... maybe it is not so strange that there are wars raging in this world...
So... in an effort to understand, I ask of this person to give me an explanation... it would possibly make both of us feel better...

I've blocked one person, he started out by saying that the forums were stupid and a waste of time, and asking if I'd ever heard of MSN. Called me a dumb blonde.. I just sent him a flower to thank him for the view, then after he emailed me, I suggested to do the forums for awhile to get to know him. Never want to interact with him again. I did take the high road, and instead of insulting him, just blocked him.
