You are missing it. This is not really a environmentist issue. This is
a industrailist and capitolist issue. Sure the envrionment is aided.
But it is Dollars, it is jobs, it is low cost energy, it is gov't project funding for major plants, it a energy resource that can be completely
developed with the country.
The far left always takes it to the environment......is not always about the environment. Remember the reason that Hillary and Obama could
not endorse coal programs and plants from the earlier post? It was because the environmentalist were against them.

We need to get that history book out again. Pre WWII Panama was like a small American city. There were a number of military bases on it.

Develop our coal indsutry and the fuel and energy from it. And we are free from Middle Eastern Oil. It takes time and political support to such
projects.
McCain has the vision to realize that as the industry is developed, we are in a energy indpendant position to leave Iraq/Saudi/ Dubia/ and the other OPEC countries in the future. Seeing the picture clearer now?
