Yes, Michael Moore is brilliant, he never stretches the truth and is really fair and balanced. maybe he should have run for President. He would probably be just as good as the other three we have in the running..

As far as your assessment of the Rep convention goes, I think you'll see and you can see in the past that conventions in general are love fests with much hugging and other theatrics. The Democratic convention will be no different other than the faces present.

I can even laugh at the McCain jokes but as I have said before, I will not sit on my hands while someone posts something that is not true (at least to me) without refuting it. Well, I don't hear you laughing anymore. As I already stated I knew I would be attacked for questioning the "War Hero" McCain and questioning his character. Opal, we were discussing McCain not Reagan. I looked at it anyway but could not find what you were referring to. I would agree that none should be left behind. Given my current occupation I would be very foolish not to. Even if I were not a Vet, I would think those POWs deserve our efforts to obtain their release

I know Obama is not going to be fooled and he's not going on the defense the way Kerry did.
Obama won't use negative smear tactics. I like knowing what kind of man he is up against so I do my research. I know that's the last thing the republican party wants people to do. He will ignore people like you, Karl Rove and Concad and continue to talk simple truths that Americans can connect with.

When I say something favorable or negative about a political opponent I am just being fair and am stating what I believe. Whether it's negative or positive, it is based on doing as much research as possible from numerous sources. This is why I can say both negative and positive about these candidates. I would never say anything positive about someone so I could use it as ammo on a later date.
There's an old adage about people and relationships. It states "when someone is suspicious about their mates fidelity, they are in fact the ones who are cheating". I think I can safely say this holds true in political discussion and you are accusing me of infidelity with that cheap shot you took at my integrity and honesty.
