Portiea: I am a klutz--always (often/sometimes--it's all relative) bumping into things, tripping, falling down. Today I was taking boxes down to my cellar storage closet, tripped on the stairs, fell down three steps (cement) on to the cement floor of the garage---scraped shins, scraped knee, bruised forearm--fortunately no nails broken
Questions: Are you klutzy or graceful? Is it a turnoff for a woman/man to be a klutz (could be one reason I'm still single?).
Any experience with this issue? Thoughts? Scars?

I mean klutz in the world. I'm clumsier than a bull in a china shop and have even been known to fall over my own shadow.Once I was riding my bike, fell off it and ended up wrapped round a roadsign
Another time I was carrying my son when he was a baby and his face was looking backwards over my shoulder. I missed a step and fell down the stairs and his chin hit the stair behind causing his bottom teeth to go through his top lip.I don't think it's a turn off to be clumsy. Well, it's never put anyone off me so far

I am gracefully klutzy. I can slip and bust my butt with the best of them whilst maintaining a style and flair that are the envy of many an emergency room physician; "Ok, Mr. McCrary, let me get this right - You slipped on wet leaves while carrying a ladder, an open can of paint, a screwdriver and a bottle of beer, and somehow managed to dis-locate your shoulder without spilling anything or dropping the ladder?" Good to hear that you did not break your nails Portiea....or any bones for that matter. You should take your time and be more careful
I used to be the hugest klutz. However, I have learned to take my time and not be so careless or reckless. So that has helped me save some time with personal injuries and save some money since I have not broken anything that belongs to somebody or me...I have torn many jackets by carelessly waling through doorways, and I have thrown away a lot of clothes because of coffee or food stains do to my carelessness.
My most recent ex was a huge klutz...it was actually quite funny. It did not bother me however. Being a klutz does not make anyone a bad person.
With that said, I do have some scars on my shins from whacking into things....gosh did that hurt.
