F-Troop counts. "The Second Hundred Years" was about Monty Markham's (can't remember his character's name) Yukon prospecting Great Great Grandfather who got caught in an Alaskan blizzard and was frozen for a hundres years. The Army found him by accident and thawed him out. Then they had to find somewhere to hide this old guy who looked 30 and had a penchant for wearing plaid shirts. So they put him with his great great grandson (also played by Monty Markham) in 1960s California. But they had to keep it al a secret. Of course the writers ran out of ideas after a session but hey, it was fun.
Now how come I can remember all that but not the Cosine Law?
Ahhh I've climbed and reach the pinnacle of this dreaded Fifty mountain , as i look over the panoramic veiw of what lies ahead.....I realize now by looking around from where i been , what i done, and where I've yet to go that, next time instead of doing all this climbing and walking thru life, I'll by a ticket and take the train .
Thank you one and all for the flowers and good wishes
Thank you for that.. It's strange on how many things we give importance too in our lives. When the event or time arrives it seems not to be as grand or even rememerable as time passes away. As for the writing aspects well, I'm content if my grand/great grandkids read it. Afterall many of the achievements we have done usually benefit them far more than we think our lives benefited us..............just an opinion

Yes your right about your grandkids reading it and that's all good. It's odd but my daughter has more of a need to know her family background than I ever needed. In fact I am so distanced from what's left of my family now but it seems not to bother me, apart from my children of course. I am content in the here and now mostly.
Well the here and now is all we have really, our dreams are of tomorrows our lessons and hurts are of our past. I hope your here and now exceed your dreams of tomorrow. have an excellent day
