Portiea: No, it is about ability.....aging, as much as we would like to say otherwise, affects ability--engery is the main one---the job is intensely strenuous both physically and mentally....look at any US president of the past and notice how they age just within the first four years....it takes everything out of a person---someone as old as he is cannot cope the way someone younger can...
It is just about if he lives through it but how he can perform while doing the job...
To compage this criteria for the presidency to gender or age is to a false analogy.
let's be real, he was a P.O.W for around five years, he wasn't in a country club, more like a rat infested gook camp..I think he can handle stress better the Obama and Hilary.
HJFinAZ: And the other choices are?????????????? He may be old, but us old farts have a clue as to what is happening..... Much more than I can say for the punk kids today..
Certainly anyone who is in the job and has sense would surround him/herself with advisors from all age groups--the best thing.....It is the energy level I am concerned about, surely you can admit to it lessening as one ages, but many keep their sharp brains and certainly experience is important.
The choices? Well, I have an opinion, but you wouldn't agree, so what's the point in arguing about it....just go to the ballot box.

So you're saying you'd rather continue this B.S. war in Iraq for who knows how long by putting McCan't in office and continue killing off more of our men and women that are over there?
Ddin't McCain suffer torcher while he was a POW? I heard he had both of his arms broken and had a chance to go home, but refused because they wouldn't release the rest of the POWs

I have no promise I will still be alive on the day the ballot box is available and I will probably be very busy living life so I will mail mine in thank you. As for arguing, I am WAY to old to argue with kids....
i got this from the net............In August of 1968, a program of severe torture began on McCain. McCain was subjected to repeated beatings and rope bindings, at the same time as he was suffering from dysentery. After four days, McCain made an anti-American propaganda "confession". He has always felt that his statement was dishonorable, but as he would later write, "I had learned what we all learned over there: Every man has his breaking point. I had reached mine." His injuries left him permanently incapable of raising his arms above his head. He subsequently received two to three beatings per week because of his continued refusal to sign additional statements. Other American POWs were similarly tortured and maltreated in order to extract "confessions" and propaganda statements, with many enduring even worse treatment than McCain...............

mastic55: He will end the war quicker than the other two...
No he won't...He wants to continue it into eternity as far as he's concerned...Have you actually listened to him? He's a war monger! Sure go ahead and vote that idiot in and watch this country go further into hell in a hand basket than it already has. Let me guess you've been supporting Bush all these years with all the stupidity he's done too!
I really thought you were smarter than that George.

He had all of his military records sealed. Anything that you're finding is strictly speculation.

Not sure who's funnier. But i'm pretty sure he doesn't want to argue with either kid, biological or otherwise.
