How Old is Too Old? (93)
Some say it is never too late, sometimes to early. I think McCains ages is not old for such a postion. He is very experienced and went through very special things like the time Vietnam etc. and this makes special.

any person who has served in combat suffers from some degree of PTSD. They wouldn't be human if they didn't. Shooting and trying to kill people you have never met isn't easy. PTSD should not dis-qualify anyone from further serving their country. How it is manifested and how it is controlled is more important that the malady itself!

honestinlov4u: I saw it on the news or some thread, so please do not think I agree or disagree as I have to research it, but it was stated that McCain suffers from PTSD from his VC days as a POW. If that is true, that is another consideration. I like the man, but have to research this to see if it is true.

I've suggested Ronald McDonald as a candidate prior to just taking the hallucigenic painkillers i am on.

McCain's grandfather died at age 61, and his father died of a heart attack at age 70. McCain takes medicine for high blood pressure. High blood pressure is the primary cause of strokes. High blood pressure can be an important contributing factor to heart attack. I know his mother lived to be 95 and McCain has appeared in a campaign ad with her, but noone brings up his father or grandfather.
