and all the details about the places so to explain others?
If you go to museums, churches and wonderful historical buildings, can you tell details or even the names after years?
I know that the most beautiful church (old one) i've visited was in Bruge. Very big one, lots of detailes, gold and all...a well done art! And then i went to other small churches and other buildings there...
I would have to research for the names again...
How about you? Considering you don't go to the place lots of times or it was not a work thing...do you remember the names and details?
Hi Cristina, yes I usually do remember every single place I go to, providing I liked it that much. If you like visiting churches you should come to Malta. St John's Cathedral is a work of art. A masterpiece in my opinion

My fascination for new places ensure i remember them in every detail. I usually keep a diary when travelling and love to read up on past 'adventures' from time to time. So , yes i always remember the places i've been to, good or bad.

Yep.. I like to know all the details of everywhere I go.. and I do remember it all..
for about a month.. then most of it fades from my rubbishy memory..
Thats why I take sooooooo many photographs .. even of the food I eat there..
I once took 1240 photos in 7 days..
But they help me remember what I have done and where I have been.

cristina: good or bad? tell us the very bad experience
Nice you do remember, i shall grow up!
I've been quite lucky with travelling so far.. not too much bad has happened..
Mostly it's getting lost in the middle of nowhere.. But I kind of like that really.. something new I hadn't planned always happens.. most of which with hilarious consequences. haha.
It usually means I get to meet interesting new people too.. I LOVE to travel.. I have met so many wonderful people that sometimes (often) I would never get to speak to again.. But some I keep in touch with via emails etc..
People I have shared some of my journey with.. had great conversations with.. yet never get to see again.. it's weird, but I love it.
I have missed planes many times though.. Once when I was being a cry baby at the airport.. and missed my friggin flight. haha.. I've been stranded here and there.. and had my luggage leave without me a few times too.

Ambushed on the Lowari Pass,
Northwest Frontier Pakistan.
Fortunately they took it out on the bus driver, mainly because he was an Afghani. Poor fellow, took three beatings on that journey, still had a big grin on his face at the end of the trip though.

Yeah.. like something from Love Actually.. without the love.
But yep.. it's great to share special moments with strangers. Sometimes I have spent 12 hrs.. talking with someone .. eating with them.. travelling about in between with them.. talking talking talking... and never see them again.. like I said.. weird.. but great!

Yeah, weird
I don't have such experience ... anyway, must be the same as sharing so much with people on an almost daily basis then never talk or see again! I know the feeling then
