Alan_50501: what is it that a guy can do to make your heart just melt
Ok this is a warning - many of you will think this is very corney.
The names have been changed to protect the innocent.
I met my last boyfriend on a site like this only it was locale. We started out just e-mailing each other. He was on the site looking for marriage and I was just looking for a boy toy. I made it clear that was all I was interested in. I had gone out on a first and last date with several different guys. I knew on the first date it wasn't going to work. So Geoge and I continued to talk thru IM and e-mails. He was very nice and I could talk to him about anything including my man problems. He sent me a picture and there was no spark. I was honest with him and he knew we would only be friends and nothing else. Then after a couple of months of talking every day, he asked if I would like to meet him for dinner. So I met him, we had dinner and went to a comedy club. there was no spark. We went out to dinner and drinks a couple more times. We got along very well. He was great but there was no spark. One night we had dinner and then went to a bar for a couple of drinks. We were sitting up at the bar, talking. They were playing sappy music. The kind of songs I sing to really loud when no one is around to hear me. My arms were resting up on the bar and George put his hands gently over mine and held them. I looked at our hands for a minute and then looked up at him. I looked into his eyes for a minute and then...there was a spark. I leaned over and kissed him and looked at him again and indeed there was a spark. Wow. Then I couldn't stop kissing him and he said "someone is going to tell us to get a room". I said "then let's get a room". Half hour later we were doing a lot more than just kissing. All he did was hold my hands and it melted my heart.
After he melted my heart by holding my hands he did what Pat said. He bought me 2 horses. He bought me diamonds. He took me to Vagas, the grand canyon, Florida and Hawaii. He brought icecream, chocolate and pizzas up to work for the girls and I.
In response to: what is it that a guy can do to make your heart just melt
I don't have a simple answer to this....it isn't just one thing and it certainly isn't stuff like roses or candy or a candlelight dinner, a walk on the beach, etc.
It is who he is...the man he is...someone I can like, admire, respect, there are just so many things that go into it...

That has to be the hardest statement to ask... Every woman is different so all you can really do is be yourself and if she like you then dont worry about trying to make her melt. When you like someone little things make you melt, of course a sweet comment helps but make sure that what you say comes from your heart and not something that she could dismiss. The best way to get a girl to want you is let her express her interests in you and pretend you dont want her. Then reel her in. Take is slow and then when the time is right you will share you first kiss with her. Never get cocky or mean, be honest and let her know how you feel after some times has passed. Make her feel like she won you and she will fall hard when she gets you. Its messed up but from experience its all a game and the better you play the better the reward will be. Good luck in your endeavors and you'll find the right girl for you :)
Be an old fashioned gentleman, like me for inner beauty, cry, massage neck and shoulders, write me a poem, dedicate a song to me,remember monthslater my favorite flowers,be there to hold me when I am in need and offer assitance.More but that's enough.
A wicked sense of humor, sincerity, love the romance (after all, I AM a girl, lol), understanding of what my life is like, and attention...that is a good start

WhatUwish4: Oh Alan...please tell me you don't really believe that!
My name is not Alan, and you're though, I don't REALLY believe it. I just happened to remember someone telling me that a long, long time ago. I believe it was when "male chauvinism" was the issue of the day.
