I am talking about personal relationships as well as romantic relationships.

It helps...but in observation by experience, passion is only part of the formula....too much passion can blind people....

I agree. We do have to be passionate about at least some things because if we don't then what is there to get up for every day and what use are relatonships. I also like the energy that somes from being passionate about things.

I do care about a great many other things and am very passionate about them....but I try, I try hard to not have tunnel vision about anything, to not be blinded by my passion...one of the things I am most passionate about is truth and vision...
What really annoys me is when people label passion as being opinionated....they try to shut you down by turning what is truly a powerful and positive thing into a negative.

I am very passionate about a lot of things and stead fast in my convictions...BUT it doesn't mean that I can't learn something new from other people's opinions!!!!!!!!
