Thank fully most people wont even bother to try to get a blade in to a gig these days as it normaly gets spotted by the bouncers doing checks at the door

dunno If you go with the "fear theory" IE agitators used or simply being more efficient in reporting ALL stabbings to "create even more fear" in people so that they don't just accept the government contole systems:, cameras, ID cards, implants of microchips etc ... but actually WISH for them to be put into place ...

Another theory is that there was a planetary alignment around first weekend in July ... Some people believe that the vibrational effect of it is to unsettle living beings ... People who are normally none agressive might have found themselves quarelling more than usual around those days ... So if you project that on people's normal levels of agression (for them) it would mean that for people who are usually aggressive and easily get into fights, it would have upped it one level for them, may be ...

There's nothing new about fighting at gigs.

Someone was glassed at the 1st gig I ever went to - in 1980.

It was a Stranglers gig at the Rainbow in North London.
