Aries01: Would you agree that they should at least have the 'balls' to tell that person what is going on... for e.g. If I were accused of being a liar (which I absolutely am not... I don't even tell white lies these days (though I have in the past)... do you think it is only fair that the person accusing me in the wrong should come clean and tell me what it is I was supposed to have lied about.. ...I don't care very much for this individual, but I don NOT take to kindly to being accused in the wrong..

Seems kind of pointless to accuse someone of lying then refuse to say how they lied. If thats the case, write him/her off. Not worth the trouble to worry about their opinion

If I am right in my thinking of which thread/person she is talking about , what she Allegedly lied about she also contradicted in the same thread , I suppose the only way we will know is if she posts the alleged lie (quoting the exact post and thread if indeed it was even on cs)

I have in the past... but since I was baptized recently I have been REALLY trying not to tell even white lies.. when you think about it.. white lies are such an integral part of our life, and the vast majority of the time they don't even serve any purpose.. e.g... answering the phone by saying 'he is at a meeting' (when he is not)... saying 'he is not in the position to take ur call at the moment'... same effect.. no lie... or.. texting someone saying that you are doing something etc when you are too tired to meet up with them..... just text and say ur too tired and will meet up another time.. so many lies are actually completely unecessary when you think about it

.. me too... its actually quite hard to avoid them until you get the hang of it.. now I would just try and be honest in as diplomatic way as possible.. not easy!!! just a relatively new thing for me to try and avoid white lies.. whether I can endure this strategy in all situations remains to be seen TBH... I have already had a couple of tiffs with my Mum for being honest.. but she came around and was pleased in the end... thats the thing about honesty as well.. it might sting initially, but most of us ultimately appreciate it in the long run... e.g.. If I looked crap in something.. I would want someone to answer me honestly if I asked.. the truth would probably knock me for six initially but at least I would not be walking around the place oblivious that I look ridiculous..A work in progress basically.... fingers crossed
