Aries01: Ha Ha .. me too... its actually quite hard to avoid them until you get the hang of it.. now I would just try and be honest in as diplomatic way as possible.. not easy!!! just a relatively new thing for me to try and avoid white lies.. whether I can endure this strategy in all situations remains to be seen TBH... I have already had a couple of tiffs with my Mum for being honest.. but she came around and was pleased in the end... thats the thing about honesty as well.. it might sting initially, but most of us ultimately appreciate it in the long run... e.g.. If I looked crap in something.. I would want someone to answer me honestly if I asked.. the truth would probably knock me for six initially but at least I would not be walking around the place oblivious that I look ridiculous..
A work in progress basically.... fingers crossed
theres your own answer, those that love ,respect, admire and know you will always give you the benefit of the doubt...sometimes not as quickly as we like. While those others are more or less looking for a reason ( fact or fiction) to find fault with you
let it go, don't waste your breath or time.... simply ignore those individuals.

Aries01: Would you agree that they should at least have the 'balls' to tell that person what is going on... for e.g. If I were accused of being a liar (which I absolutely am not... I don't even tell white lies these days (though I have in the past)... do you think it is only fair that the person accusing me in the wrong should come clean and tell me what it is I was supposed to have lied about.. ...I don't care very much for this individual, but I don NOT take to kindly to being accused in the wrong..
What would ye guys do ??
You should call Dio, let him sweet talk you a little, you'll feel much better after that. Seriously....do it.
trublu: like crotalus_p who do nothing but stalk .
So replying to posts where you quote me is called stalking is it ??
trublu: just plain hating on Americans...who knows. .
Sorry to disappoint you but I don’t hate Americans , never have and never will judge a country as large and diverse as America on the basis of just a few people
trublu: No substance, no information, no learning, nothing of value, so not worth my time. .
You still saw fit to spend the time replying
trublu: I would suggest you take the same attitude with those that are so petty they feel the need to harrass you. .
It’s an amazing coincidence that anyone that disagrees with you is either harassing you or a friend of some one harassing you
trublu: No way you will ever get a wannabee to tell the truth, not part of their mental or moral make up.

I guess it depends on how major the issue was. Sometimes people say things just to get a reaction. I would decide if it was worth all the fuss or not. If so, then confront them, simple as that. Otherwise, just ignore it and let it go. Don't give them the thrill of attention if you can help it. But in the end, completely up to you and only you.

noit always ignoring is enought
when some one post like quoting you, something that you did not say, the rest that will jump in the thread, in the last page will see the quote and belive it was real, giving you a bad name in the forums
it is not the first time it happens it will not be the last one as it is the usuall behaviour in the forums

Yes that is true also. That is why I said, "depends on how major the issue was" something like posting something for everyone else to see, I would email them privately and speak to them about it and perhaps say a little something in my defense on that thread, but not enough to create a huge scene.
Just like everything in life, it is all a case by case scenerio and to who the scenerio happens to.

If you don't care about this individual...don't care!
Accusing someone of being a lier is indeed strong. When somebody lies about me i get sooo furious! Only people who don't know you would call you lier when you're not. For this reason cut with that person. Lier is sooo low...that's a diminishing accusation. Cut it!
What i think matters is your conscience, like everyone has said, if you think the fellow still matters in your life and it wouldn't be that easy cutting the fellas off, then talk to the guy straight!! otherwise, rejoice in your conscience and shame the lairs who says you lied!!
bodleing: Everybody tells lies...or distorts the truth
at the very least.
OK, YOU are a liar for even posting that, and I am telling you I fully disagree. I KNOW people who don't, and one who even enjoys shocking people by telling the WHOLE truth LOL

the origin of 'fuch off' comes from ancient caveman times, while being instructed on the method of reproduction... it later became thrust, retreat, thrust, retreat, thrust, retreat; but as this new term has no real passion, fuch ,off, fuch, off ,fuch, off ... has returned with renewed interest in our lexicon.
